Todd Bratrud Interview

Better Old Photos

Old Photos

So it's January 26th!!! You know what that means? Nothing really, still cold and snowy, and for some reason i've developed some sort of temporary insomnia as of lately so i've been looking around my hard drive when I found a folder full of(drumroll please)...........old skate photos! You ever see that Pete and Pete where they try to stay up for a really long time and everyone starts to go nuts? Anyways....

Can't get into the house?!

EE0 part I

EE0 part II

This is one of my favorite videos ever made. 9 minutes of some of the best skating at the time, and watching it again, alot of this stuff is still amazing now! I first saw it after renting (that's right, some skateshops used to rent videos!) it from this shop by my house, Skate Street. A few years later would render my VHS (weird big bulky things that videos used to be on) pretty useless due to lines of static and what not, and I'm sure many other people had that problem as well. So classic. The only thing missing from the video? Maybe a clip of Ricky having some sort of confrontation with someone would have been entertaining, but I'm not complaining.

Vice TV

If you like Vice Magazine, keep your eye on
VBS(I'm guess stands for Vice Broadcasting System) looks like it will be like Vice, only now you don't have to go through all that trouble of reading....although your probably going to need to buy a laptop to watch it in the bathroom.

Dream City

Where would one find a Zima sweatshirt now adays? Awesome video at Wiskate.com. Cream City is the best park i've ever been to. Apparently another park was inspired by Cream City's fake bricks but decided to make an obstacle out of real bricks. Not real bricks like smooth bricks but real bricks like gnarly grainy chimney bricks. That obstacle probably doesn't get much love.

What?! MORE snow? Awesome!!!

Well, while some lucky people were busy watching Dinosaur Jr. in 70 degree Tampa, others, namley those in the midwest, were getting snowed on....great.

Well my friend Pete and I tried to skate.

Sam McGuire

As a newborn, Sam's earlobe was plagued with being bent upwards and the doctors recommended having surgery to fix it. His mother, instead, opted to tape his ear to his neck, fixing it sans surgery.
