Shitty Fundraiser for DIY Skatepark, Shitside (St. Louis)
Randy Ploesser is organizing a shitty event to help raise money for St. Louis's DIY skate park under the Kingshighway viaduct (at Southwest and Kingshighway). This spot is known to many as Shitside, in reference to the famous Portland skate park that was built under similar conditions called Burnside. There will be boxes, rails, and ramps for skateboarding at the fundraiser, but anything that rolls is welcome (excluding bikes). There will be drinks available at the St. Louis Skatium bar and a large raffle giving away lots of product from all of the event’s sponsors. There will also be organized games of S.K.A.T.E. with half of the money pool going to the winner and the other half donated to helping Shitside.
